In the foothills of Garhwal mountain range. Amidst beautifully garnished lanes of Mall Road. Mussoorie is a perfect pit-stop for travelers to relax themselves and emblazoning their taste buds with tints never had before. Apart from the beautiful scenery and tranquilizing locations to visit in Mussoorie, it’s also an ataraxia for connoisseurs.

Cafes in Mussoorie never fails to please us. Contemporary designs and jazz in background is common notion visible and felt in the cafes here. For chocolate lover, there’s a café dedicated for those deities.

As the name Says “Chick Chocolate”. The place is filled with chocolates and beauties. The café have chocolates of various size and shape decorated in the entrance. And it does its magic. It never fails to lures chocoholics.

 The place has created a chocolaty aura with the brown chocolates and almond colored furniture. Famous Newspaper articles, billboards of Bob Marley. Jazz music in the background. And a decent stock of books create perfect magnet for the customers to stay long and have some delicious food.  Not to be taken aghast by the decorum of place, prices may petrify you!!

That’s what 350INR dish looks like. Nutella Waffles with ice cream!!  There’s no point of skepticism for the taste. Taste, crunch, and sweetness perfect they were. 

Adding to the café list. “Café de tavern”, Beer appeal is made from the doors only. The dim yellow lights. A place having chaotic silence creates perfect ambience for the lovers of drinks to have a sip of their coffees or beers.No doubt in the crowd during any time in the café. From espresso, Americano, to Budweiser and Bira they have enough stockpiles to fulfill the needs of their customers. Again looking on the right side of the menu card we can have a setback.

is dedicated for the booze clan!! That’s the beauty of mussoorie. Taste buds can taste from chocolates to “Chivas regal” all within few meters.

 But in Mussoorie right side of menu is just something printed to ignore. In Mussoorie from street side “Bhuttas” to food in high end restaurants.  Roasting it in front of us. Even standing and seeing it helps a lot. The heat of that stove warms us, a luxury it is!! And then having the Lemon rimed, ”Bhutta” is sensual.

One is never going to be disappointed. In chilly temperature of Mussoorie. Strolling on roads with no worries and having, “Bhuttas” is a moment to cherish.

North India is famous for its Mughlai dishes, Non-Veg food!! Mussoorie has not failed in this genre too!! Mussoorie is the plural hill state of North India. And proving the secularism of India. It is house to Punjabis, Haryanvis, Kashmiris, Bhaiyas, even north eastern clans are residing in that hill town. So varieties of dishes can be found. Even to the surprise, fish were seen hooked in front of the non-veg shops!!

Mussoorie never fails to aghast us.  Two floors under the road, having a Chicken Kathi roll. And tandoori chicken drenched in Malai flavored with herbs. Smoothness, softness, It’s really “finger licking good!!!” Friends Barbeque nation is the place to enjoy delicious dishes under the road. But, being unequivocal sometimes one needs to loosen wallet against expectations. And same may happen in "Friends Barbeque nation"

TO end a day with delicious, spicy Biryani at new places is nothing but god’s Benison and definitely your luck. And Mughal Dilli-6 is the place where one’s destiny opens.In the chilly nights of Mussoorie.

Having a spicy biryani is delight. Wet nose epitomizes the delight, our taste buds are having. But, without beautifying the bare hands with the orange colored rice, one is going to miss the real taste and happiness.

Mussoorie is delight for connoisseur as it has exemplified varieties of dishes. And cafes are providing those dishes and maleficent scenes to gaze. "Tea totaller" the final café one can visit. Having a cheese rimed pizza with Doon valley ready to succumb us. Toppings for pizza are more emblazoned by fresh, cold air, fog and thrill to have it so near the open mouth of Doon valley.

Without a skeptical notion, mussoorie is not just a place to enjoy weekends and vacations, detoxifying  lungs. It also houses enough beauty for our taste buds too. When our psyche is at peace, our gums will exercise a lot.
